Terms of BUSINESS

 
 

The terms of business outlined apply to each assignment/project undertaken between Recruitment Professional Pty Ltd and the client. The client agrees to be bound by these terms of business upon accepting any details on a candidate put forward to them or by engaging any candidate introduced by Recruitment Professionals Pty Ltd.

A. General Terms

  1. Candidate information is passed on to the client with strict confidentiality. If this information is given to anyone other than the client to whom Recruitment Professionals Pty Ltd has introduced the candidate, resulting in the permanent employment of the candidate, the client is liable to pay the placement fee for the candidate.

  2. A candidate forwarded to your company for a particular position is regarded as a candidate for any position in the company for a period of 12 months from the date of application.

  3. Whilst Recruitment Professionals Pty Ltd prides themselves on the quality and professionalism of their service, they are not liable for any omission of information or incorrect information provided to them by the candidate.

  4. The client is ultimately responsible for the final recruitment decision and suitability of a candidate for their organisation.

  5. Any variation to these terms of business is not effective unless agreed to in writing by the Director of Recruitment Professionals Pty Ltd.

  6. GST is payable on all fees at the rate of 10%.

  7. The Client agrees to comply with the Privacy Laws regarding personal information and not to use this information except for the purpose of employing that candidate with their organization.

B. Fee Structure

  1. Temporary, Permanent or Contract: A percentage of the total remuneration package, comprising base salary, superannuation and car allowance or tool of trade, is charged on the successful placement of a candidate with your company.

  2. For retained assignments, one third of the estimated fee is requested up-front. This covers administrative costs for advertising, screening and interviewing candidates. One third is payable on final submission of the shortlist i.e. reporting of short-listed candidates and the final third is payable on reference checking and placement of the successful candidate.

  3. For contingency assignments full payment is due on completion of the assignment i.e. placement. Fees are payable on commencement of the candidate.

  4. A candidate forwarded to your company for a particular position is regarded as a candidate for any position in the company for a period of 12 months from the date of application.

  5. All fees and charges for any service provided by Recruitment Professionals Pty Ltd are agreed upon with a client before undertaking any recruitment assignments. Please contact Recruitment Professionals Pty Ltd on 02 9907 8633 for further details on the fee structure.

C. Guarantee

  1. The fee charged to a client for the successful placement of a candidate comes with a three month guarantee whereby the candidate will be replaced free of charge should they prove unsatisfactory or leave within the first three months of employment.

  2. This guarantee is only valid if the final invoice is paid within 30 days of invoice date.

  3. Additional expenses incurred for advertising and travel are not included in this guarantee.

  4. This guarantee is not applicable if the candidate is retrenched or made redundant due to company closure, takeover, downsizing or due to a change in job description.

D. Confidentiality

  1. Recruitment Professionals Pty Ltd respects the confidentiality of all information passed to us by candidates and clients.

  2. Information provided to Recruitment Professionals Pty Ltd from a candidate or client is not distributed for any purpose other than the consideration of a candidate for the position they have applied for / employment within the healthcare industry. Confidential information is not sent indiscriminately.

  3. The candidate is consulted before any confidential information is released to a client.

  4. The company will not jeopardize the candidate’s current employment by discussing confidential information with any person other than the employer /company where they have applied for a position and / or by contacting any referee without their prior permission.

  5. A candidate placed with a client by Recruitment Professionals Pty Ltd will not be approached regarding further employment while still employed with that organization.

  6. Recruitment Professionals Pty Ltd cannot be held responsible if the candidate approaches the company seeking further employment opportunities.

  7. Recruitment Professionals Pty Ltd will not advertise positions which are not available and for which we do not have permission by the client.
